About Us

Paleo Diet Meals

The Paleo Diet the world’s healthiest diet, is based on the simple understanding that the best human diet is the one to which we are best genetically adapted. It is supported by documented scientific evidence and by real-life improvements, even triumphs, of people winning their personal health battles.

The Paleo Diet team brings together

  • Loren Cordain, Ph.D., the world’s leading expert on Paleolithic diets

  • Wiley Long, M.S. in Nutrition and Exercise Science

  • Pedro Bastos, completing his M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics

  • Nell Stephenson, B.S. in Exercise Science, Ironman athlete, personal trainer, and health and nutrition consultant

The insight that the evolutionary template provides, supported by research in the world’s top scientific journals, is provided in our free weekly newsletter, The Paleo Diet Update. Each week we cover the scientific basis, the practical application, and the “how to” of humanity’s healthiest diet.

We also offer numerous programs designed to help people address particular nutritional and health needs. These programs can enable you to achieve your health goals whether you seek to:

  • permanently free yourself from acne

  • improve your athletic performance

  • slow progression of an autoimmune disease

  • enjoy a longer, healthier, more active life

  • lose weight without dieting and exercise,

  • reduce or eliminate your risk of diseases, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and the vast majority of all chronic degenerative diseases that affect humanity

Wiley Long

As part of a mid-life career change, Wiley Long returned to school to get an M.S. in nutrition and exercise science at Colorado State University. His thesis was on post exercise substrate oxidation in response to a high glycemic meal. An interest in how to optimize health and performance, avoid degenerative disease, and slow down age-related decline led to his discovery of The Paleo Diet. His whole family eats this way, including his six year-old son, Wiley IV. He is also president of the online health insurance agency, HSA for America.
